    Welcome to our shared corner of the web, where we chronicle our scientific explorations in the fascinating fields of Physics. We're Xingrui Song and Xinyi Du, united not only by our shared passion for physics but also by our life's journey. We first crossed paths at Washington University in St. Louis in 2018, and fast forward to 2023, we are not just research partners but life partners, celebrating our union in the bond of marriage. We both graduated from WashU with a PhD in 2025 May and are continuing as postdocs at Cornell University.
