Atomic and molecular physics

I am a passionate experimentalist specializing in superconducting circuits. My interests span both the immediate applications and future potential of the superconducting platform.

In the short term, my research focuses on

  • Quantum Sensing

  • Open Quantum Systems

  • Quantum Simulation

  • Quantum Thermodynamics

  • Quantum Error Mitigation

For the future, I am interested in realizing the fault-tolerent quantum computation through:

  • Quantum Error Correction

  • Topological Quantum Computing

Furthermore, I am always ready to explore interdisciplinary fields, including

  • Machine Learning

  • Quantum Many-body Physics

  • High-Performance Computing

Skills:

Superconducting Quantum Computation:

  • Pulse engineering

  • Feedback controll

  • Black-box optimization of experimental setups

Microwave Engineering:

  • Microwave simulation using HFSS and AWR software.

  • Designing and assemblying sample packages for superconducting chips

  • Adapting op-amp circuits for fast flux line drivers

  • Manufacturing Eccosorb infrared filters

Programming:

  • Developing the OpenQUA package for microwave control of qubits

  • Building simple compilers for executing OpenQASM on custom experimental setups

Mechanical Engineering:

  • Modeling with SOLIDWORKS

  • Generating CNC toolpaths for machining using Python
